Rowen & Jay’s Real Wedding Menu at Willow Marsh Farm
Rowen and Jay celebrated their gorgeous spring wedding at Willow Marsh Farm, a venue full of rustic charm and relaxed countryside beauty. They wanted a wedding breakfast that felt comforting and full of flavour.
Canapés
As guests mingled during the drinks reception, they were treated to a vibrant selection of canapés.
- Macaroni cheese bites with garlic mayo and crispy onion
- Steak-wrapped chip with béarnaise mayo
- Black bean taco with guacamole
- Onion and courgette pakora with mango chutney
A flavour-packed start to the celebrations.
Starter
For their starter, Rowen and Jay chose a generous Ploughman’s sharing board, perfect for getting guests talking and enjoying the meal together.
Each board included sliced ham, pickled onions, Lincolnshire poacher cheddar, tomato chutney, dressed leaf salad, crusty bread and our homemade focaccia and raisin bread. It was a relaxed, delicious way to begin the wedding breakfast.
The Main Event – Our Award-Winning Pies
For the main course, Rowen and Jay treated their guests to our award-winning pies, choosing between a rich and comforting chicken and leek pie or a creamy cauliflower cheese pie for the vegetarian option. Both were served with creamy mash, roast carrot, green beans and plenty of rich gravy. The kind of hearty, feel-good food that always goes down beautifully at a countryside wedding.
Dessert
To finish the wedding breakfast, guests were served a true classic: sticky toffee pudding with caramel sauce and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Sweet, indulgent and utterly satisfying, and it was the perfect ending!
