Hello!

Well my feet have just about touched the ground following our wedding last weekend and I wanted to send you an email to thank you for everything you, Thomas and the rest of the team did to make the catering so fantastic.

We knew that the menu Thomas put together for us (even incorporating personal foodie memories) sounded delicious, but we were really blown away with just how good it tasted.

The fact that something as relatively simple as antipasti could taste so good, with each element standing out, was some achievement. My favourite bit was hearing people speculate about what had gone into flavouring different elements –  ‘Do you think they’ve put cumin in this humous?’ ‘Smoked cumin?’ ‘How come the couscous tastes so good?!’

Or for the main, hearing people debate whether the lamb or the chicken or the salmon was their favourite. Needless to say it was all finished off!

We had loads of compliments about both the quality of the food and the relaxed style of the meal and I definitely heard a few people say the words “Best… wedding… food…. ever..!” 

We’d also like to thank you and the team for all your effort in achieving what felt like a completely seamless operation. From serving the welcome drinks, to the meal, to serving the evening buffet and tidying bits away, it felt like you were always exactly where you needed to be and it meant we could completely relax as we knew everything was under control. You also didn’t bat an eyelid when we would say, ‘oh yes that’s in those fridges over there across that field’ or ‘here’s a mountain of dessert, please make it look nice’ or ‘oh by the way, there’s no mobile reception in Edale!’  You were just very, very helpful and it really made our lives easier both the day before and on the day of the wedding.

Thanks so much again. You guys really did a fantastic job.
