Alice and Tom’s Middle Eastern Wedding Feast
Throw back Thursday alert. I’m opening the Tom archives again and this one’s a cracker. An epic middle eastern wedding feast.
Wowzers. This menu was fun, funky and bursting with flavour. Their canapes were crazy creative; from the delicious crayfish arancini with a fruity twist (with a pipette your own mango sauce – cool hey?) to the tasty tuna and wasabi mayo on rice crackers.
Their lamb main was a taste explosion. Moroccan spiced, melt in the mouth with tons of middle eastern flavours – we are talking pomegranate, almonds, cumin and coriander. Gorgeous stuff. Almost as gorgeous as Alice’s phenomenal sapphire engagement ring (very Duchess of Cambridge).
For dessert we created mini sweet canapes served as petit fours, with brandy snaps, lemon tarts and mini forest fruits milkshakes. The perfect sweet treat to follow such a flavour rich main course.
