Hip Hip Hip Hurray, spring is finally on its way. The temperature is slowly creeping up, the sun is dusting off his hat (and so am I) as we get ready for fast approaching Wedding Season.

At Thomas Towers we are gearing up to make wedding catering awesome for all our lovely brides and grooms this spring and summer and this includes expanding my team and getting all the important behind the scenes logistics stuff in place.

Top of the Ops

This month we welcome Callum to our team as Operations Manager. Callum has worked for team Thomas as one of my Front of House Managers for a few years but is now joining the team full time to head up operations. Callum will be overseeing all the finer details of planning which means he’ll be in charge of everything from how many plates or serving dishes you need at your wedding to allocating and briefing all the lovely staff who’ll be there on the day.  He’ll be coming with me to visit venues and sitting in on final run through meetings so you’ll get to meet him very soon. He is also a whizz with all things technology so we are excited to hear his ideas to make our systems even better. If only there was an App for washing up….

Spring Market

This Sunday our much loved arancinis will be feeding hungry shoppers at the Spring Market at the Roundhouse, Derby. The event is in association with Fabulous Places and we are delighted to have a stall among 100 handpicked food, drink and gift stallholders. So come down and say hi if you are in the area.
